After a 23-year-old man was hacked to loss of life on the outskirts of Mangaluru, days after a youth BJP employee was killed at Bellare in Dakshina Kannada, former Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy on Saturday condemned the spate of killings and stated that the federal government has “destroyed” the state which is a “backyard of peace”.
In a sequence of tweets referred to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, the previous chief minister stated, “An incompetent, helpless @BJP4Karnataka authorities that’s unable to guard not solely the individuals of the nation but additionally its staff, the Praveen Nettaru homicide case has been handed over to the NIA for investigation. “Are there no environment friendly cops within the state? If loyal and sincere officers are given free rein, they will root out coastal violence. @BJP4Karnataka Authorities doesn’t need it. The drama of entrusting the NIA with out trusting the competent authorities goes to construct a ‘tomb’ for the investigation of the massacres,” he added.
Calling the state “backyard of peace for all races”, the JDS chief stated that the Chief Minister has “destroyed” it.
“Karnataka is a backyard of peace for all races. You might have destroyed it.
