Famend social employee and Padma Shri recipient Sindhutai Sapkal has filed a grievance with police in Maharashtra’s Palghar district, claiming that some persons are misusing her identify to cheat folks.
In her grievance submitted to the Wada police station, Sindhutai Sapkal (72) mentioned some folks had been fradulently utilizing her identify to advertise themselves and motion must be taken in opposition to them, mentioned a neighborhood police officer.
Lately, an individual had put out ads providing tuition for Class 10 and 11 college students in Wada tehsil at a minimal cost of Rs 1,000, claiming to be affiliated to the “Padmashri Sindhutai Sapkal Education Society, Satara”.
He later disappeared, duping about hundred college students, in accordance with Sharad Patil, a neighborhood activist.
When Mr Patil approached Sindhutai Sapkal, she advised him that no such establishment in her identify existed, nor had she lent her identify to any establishment in Wada.
No case has been registered on this regard but, mentioned the police official.
