Jagan Reddy To Be Named Party's 'Lifetime Chief' At Mega Event Tomorrow

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will inaugurate the YSRCP plenary tomorrow.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy shall be elected “lifetime president” of the ruling Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress celebration (YSRCP) when it begins its two-day plenary session in Amaravati on Friday.

The celebration structure shall be modified to permit Mr Reddy’s election because the YSRCP president for his lifetime.

The YSRCP is citing the case of DMK, which was allowed by the Election Fee of India (ECI) to call M Karunanidhi because the celebration chief for all times.

“On related traces, we will even search the ECI’s permission to let Jagan be our president for all times,” a prime chief of the celebration was quoted as saying by information company PTI.

This would be the third plenary of the decade-old celebration, and the primary because it got here to energy in Andhra Pradesh three years in the past.

The celebration has lined up 9 resolutions, one every on girls empowerment, schooling, healthcare, Direct Profit Switch schemes, transparency in administration, social empowerment, agriculture and industries, that will be adopted on the plenary.

The ninth decision shall be on “Dushta Chatushtayam” (evil quartet), focusing on the principal opposition Telugu Desam Get together, Jana Sena and three Telugu media homes, which the YSRCP branded as “yellow media”.

“Opposition chief Chandrababu Naidu will burst into tears after seeing the plenary’s success,” YSRCP Basic Secretary and Rajya Sabha Member Vijayasai Reddy instructed media right here on Thursday.

The plenary is being held coinciding with the start anniversary of Mr Reddy’s father, former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, on July 8.

After paying floral tributes to his father, Jagan Reddy will ship the inaugural speech on the plenary.

The plenary will finish on Saturday night along with his closing remarks.

The YSRCP expects 1.5 lakh leaders and delegates to attend the primary day’s session and 4 lakh on the second day.
